It's that spooky time of year when kids, some of us adults and our pets play dress up for treats. Why not treat your horse to a fun fall pumpkin cookie you've made fresh at home!?
Ingredients
- 1/2 can of pumpkin
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 1/4 cups of oats
- 1/4 cup of molasses
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
Ingredients
- Share and trick or treat with your equestrian and equine friends. If you make the cookies, take a photo, share it on social media and tag us so we can share your sweet treats photo!
- Preheat oven to 400F. Grease your cookie sheet or use a piece of parchment paper.
- Combine oats, brown sugar, molasses, and pumpkin in a mixing bowl and mix until blended.
- Roll into 1” diameter balls and place on cookie. Do note, they will not rise or spread so you can place them close together.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven. They will appeara little dried out but should still be a bit soft. Before they cool, sprinkle them evenly with cinnamon.
