It's that spooky time of year when kids, some of us adults and our pets play dress up for treats. Why not treat your horse to a fun fall pumpkin cookie you've made fresh at home!?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can of pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 1/4 cups of oats
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

Ingredients

  1. Share and trick or treat with your equestrian and equine friends. If you make the cookies, take a photo, share it on social media and tag us so we can share your sweet treats photo!
  2. Preheat oven to 400F. Grease your cookie sheet or use a piece of parchment paper.
  3. Combine oats, brown sugar, molasses, and pumpkin in a mixing bowl and mix until blended.
  4. Roll into 1” diameter balls and place on cookie. Do note, they will not rise or spread so you can place them close together.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven. They will appeara little dried out but should still be a bit soft. Before they cool, sprinkle them evenly with cinnamon.
