Will Fly Predators kill horn flies (Haematobia irritans)?
(This is a common question from folks grazing cattle)
Yes, Fly Predators can successfully attack and kill horn flies. However, horn flies breed in fresh undisturbed cow manure out in pastures and Fly Predators only travel about 150ft in their lifetime, because of this, Fly Predators need to be thoroughly spread throughout the entire pasture. We realize that this can be a near impossible feat due to pasture size and or terrain, which is why we now offer the CowVac for horn fly control. Check out the CowVac at:
