Ask us a question and a member of our support staff will respond as soon as possible.
Put my very first order out 24 hours ago. Now it’s saying it’s going to freeze tonight. Will they be ok or will it kill them? Unfortunately when I put them out I didn't know that we were going to get freezing weather again. Right now it is only 35 out by will get closer to 32 before it warms up.
Having been out for 24 hrs prior to the freeze, they should be fine. Once distributed, they can handle temperatures down to about 28.
Would that be the same even if they haven't all hatched?
If a significant portion were still unhatched and temperatures fell below 35, give us a call at 866-404-3895 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Survival would be a little more questionable.
