Can Bye Bye Odor be put in a carpet cleaner? Over the 4th of July, one of my dogs was terrified by the fireworks and spent alot of time hiding in the basement, which is finished and has expensive, plush carpeting throughout. I soon discovered he had started to wet down there, apparently being too afraid to come up, even tho I thought I was forcing him to go outside often enough. Help!
Ah! That could work. I would however run a couple of hot water cycles through the cleaner first with it just sitting in a tub or over a drain, as you want to make sure there are no harsh chemicals left in the machine before adding the Bye Bye Odor.
I would not use it in a carpet cleaner, as some of the harsher chemicals used in those machines can kill the active microbes in Bye Bye Odor. It would be better to run the cleaner over the area and then mist Bye Bye Odor over it after it has dried. This would ensure the Bye Bye Odor is working to its best ability.
I actually meant putting the bye bye product in my carpet cleaner instead of carpet cleaning solution. I have a rinse only option and wonder if that would work. Thank you!
